Kirksey Wedding

HERE IT IS!!!  My first wedding shoot!  I was so grateful to a bride, groom, and their family for believing in me enough to have me document their special wedding day.  This sweet wedding was in the backyard of the groom's home.  The storm clouds held off just long enough for everyone to finish their cake.  I know that this couple has been together for a long time, and you could see the look in the brides eyes as she began to cry during her vows to him.  It was WONDERFUL!!  But I'm a sucker for a good love story!

        

Sweet Perfect Baby Charlotte

Baby Charlotte was born early this morning to a beautiful family! When I walked into the hospital room I paused with my hand on my chest, as I Iooked on this beautiful little girl with perfect skin, cheeks, lips, feet, well...she's just perfect. Congratulations!

Amanda and Stewart had been married in California and came home to Texas to celebrate with family and friends.  I loved the vivid colors.  So much work went into the decorations by the brides mother, friends, and family.  The couple was beaming as they greeted their guests.  And at the end of the evening I look over to the fireplace, and realize the bride had taken off her shoes much earlier in the evening.

Rousey 40th Anniversary

This was this couple's 40th wedding anniversary.  Their two boys threw such a wonderful
anniversary party for them.  They are such a stunning couple.  So many things were replicated from their first wedding.  Starting with the cake that the wedding planner handmade the cake topper to look like their original.  The bride wanted to make sure that the groom had his favorite flowers, the sunflower.  Her wedding dress was on display.  The same preacher who married them 40 years ago officiated that night in the renewing of their vows.  Their original wedding party with lots of new family members added since.  Oh, and on their wedding day they missed out on their first dance, so they had their "first dance" on this their anniversary.   It was lovely.
