Ostler Kiddos

The Ostler's are beautiful children.
It was early in the morning, and those little ones turned on the charm.  I was drawn right in!
And when two horses decided to cross the bridge, the littlest girl could not contain herself!
Big sister even got to get up on one of the horses.
I always love when I can take little kids out and they are so happy to be outside, playing with me.

Burman Family

This was a special shoot, as this wife, daughter and son were taking pictures to send to their husband and daddy serving over in Afghanistan.  These types of sessions are so near and dear to my heart.
The kids told me all about him, and mom and I talked shop a little!
I am so grateful for my country.  This is a family that lives to
protect it and the freedoms that my family enjoys.  Thank you!!
The last two pictures are for daddy, wink;) wink;)
Since this shoot, daddy made it safely home.

Caitlin Seniors

Caitlin was a graduating Senior of 2012.  She was able to take her Senior pictures before she went off to college.  (Just goes to show, it's never too late!)  She has been a strong influence in her family, and has risen above tragedy.  I am so impressed with the young people of this generation, with their determination, and character.  Good Luck with your future Caitlin!

Barrett Family

I have a treat for you all!
Another wonderful photo shoot from Virginia.
This time it was at my parents house, Iron Rod Farms.
Mauree is a sweet friend from high school.  It was a great experience to see her
with her kind husband and beautiful little girls.  Her girls were so curious, and playful with one another.  It was fun to be an observer of their interactions.  There were two that were my particular favorites.  When it was time to take a break and have a snack, one of the sister's decided to share, and the other happily partook.  The second interaction was when the second sister was sitting by a great big tree examining the ground and the first sister came over to see what was so interesting.  And then she decided to sit back to back with her sister.  They both just watched the world for awhile.
Mom and Dad watched them with smiles on their faces, and you could tell
that those girls have wonderful parents.

Disclosure:  This was a very hot summer morning, after a 1 week power outage,
and record breaking 100 degree weather days.  Don't they look fabulous!

Marsh Family

This was an exciting photo shoot for several reason.
1.  It was a sweet wonderful girl from high school who was one of the first people
I met when I moved to Virginia when I was 13.
2.  It was at one of my favorite places of all times, the University of Virginia.
The Marsh's were so fun!  They reminded me so much of my boys as they had fun
and were goofy with one another.
With one word from mom, they snapped into position, ready for the photo.
(That I need to master!)  I was impressed!!
I am excited about how these turned out, as from what I
remember it is the first family portrait that the Marsh's have had.
Thank you for giving me that honor!
